Dr. Tahnee Dewhurst, principal examiner, is a recognised expert and leading professional handwriting and signature analyst, with over 15 years industry experience.

Dr. Dewhurst’s academic qualifications include: Bachelor of Science (Double Major) (Honours), Post Graduate Diploma of Forensic Science, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and a Ph.D. (Human Bioscience).

Professionally Dr. Dewhurst worked as a senior Forensic Officer for Victoria Police Forensic Services Department for over 10 years and has provided advice, examination, analysis, expert evidence reports, training packages regarding handwriting and signature analysis, and expert evidence provision to government and private industry both nationally and internationally, including programs in The United States of America, China and Pakistan.

With keen research and development interests, Dr. Dewhurst is always curious about research opportunities and is eager to discuss the next collaborative venture.

Dr. Dewhurst has a number of publications in the forensic sciences and has presented prolifically as both invited and keynote speaker to a variety of industry-based conferences and symposiums to discuss the nature of her work.

In addition to forensic handwriting analysis, Dr. Dewhurst lectures at Box Hill Institute's Biosecurity Centre of Excellence.
